The first MEININGER was opened, as one might guess, in Meininger Straße, Berlin, in 1999, marking the beginning of a success story.
Much more than just a hostel, much cheaper than a hotel – this simple and attractive idea combined with an intelligent, flexible concept and a whole lot of enthusiasm are what have led MEININGER to success.
