More value with MEININGER

So what exactly is the difference between a hostel and a hotel? MEININGER makes no distinction and takes the best from both: the service and comfort of a hotel and the open, uncomplicated approach of a hostel. And what’s more, the friendly MEININGER team and the inviting public zones such as the bar, the lounge with fireplace and the show kitchen create a special, convivial atmosphere in which international guests feel at ease.

*Farewell Hotel        MEININGER Strasse

The birthplace of the MEININGER Group closed its doors on 31 October
2009.

Ten years ago it was the perfect place for transforming an unusual idea into reality; an idea that went on to become a truly unique success story.

Following the opening of numerous new hotels, the establishment in MEININGER Strasse is now past its heyday –
reason enough for our ways to part, even though it is a hard step to take.

Nevertheless, there are still many reasons to look forward to the future. Already until 2012, five new MEININGER establishments will be opening whose concept hails from Meininger Strasse.
