At MEININGER, you never need to worry about the safety of your group; here, we write Safety with a capital S. Our reception desk is manned around the clock, our public areas are monitored by video surveillance cameras, access to our rooms is controlled by a Key Card lock system, and a supervisory staff is always around to keep an eye on the house. In addition, our House Rules clearly regulate in-house behaviour, and the sale of alcoholic drinks is closely monitored.

ROOM ENTRY
Programmed Key Cards control entry to all rooms, which are divided according to sex.
SALE OF ALCOHOLIC DRINKS CLOSELY MONITORED
We do not tolerate the consumption of alcoholic drinks brought into the house by guests! We do not serve drinks to minors under the age of 16, and we serve drinks to minors between the ages of 16 and 18 only after consulting with chaperones.
Boys and girls are accommodated separately. We try to make sure that all members of a group are housed on one floor, if possible. Our multi-bed rooms usually have from four to six beds.
We are happy to offer double rooms equipped with comfortable furnishings, television, telephone and some well-deserved peace and quiet.
A COSY TEACHERS’ LOUNGE
Many of our houses feature a cosy Teachers’ Lounge. Here, you can relax, use the Internet free of charge, watch a little TV, have a drink or socialise with other chaperones.
Our personnel is happy to help you and your group at all hours of the day and night. On request, we will gladly set aside extra supervisory staff for your convenience. That way, you can fall asleep at ease.
