Office dogs are welcome at MEININGER Hotels
For thousands of years, dogs have been known as man’s best friend. At MEININGER we can’t get enough of them either and that’s why we are glad to let our employees bring their furry, faithful, four-legged friends to work with them. Let us introduce you to four trusty MEININGER dogs.
Breed: Australian Shepherd
As is usual for his breed, Noak is very intelligent and always eager to learn something new. Running is his greatest passion, and 10-15 kilometres per day is his average. At his peak, he runs at 40km/h. He also loves swimming in the sea – indeed, the little guy is very sporty. During meetings in the office he is able to wait quietly in the background. Otherwise, he is extremely snuggly, requiring lots of cuddles and demanding a lot of attention and love.
Breed: Terrier-Schnauzer cross
Poli comes from a Croatian animal protection organization who rescued her and her puppy siblings from an animal shelter. She is very scared of strangers, but once someone has conquered her heart – or rather her stomach with sausage or cheese – she turns into a mixture of a cuddly little thing, a gremlin and a clown. In the office she is a reliable alarm system when strangers arrive, is gladly used as a counsellor for spiritual wellbeing, and makes sure that there is always a good mood.
Bella is best at sleeping under the desk and snoring so loudly that everyone can hear. Because of this she has earned herself several nicknames, including ‘Finance Dog’ and ‘Office Piggy’.
Breed: Short Haired Miniature Dachshund
Simo likes classical piano music and sings along loudly whenever he hears a lovely song. His favourite song is Nocturne in E-flat major, Op. 9, No. 2 by Frédéric Chopin. Simo is a hunting dog, but unfortunately he is allergic to deer, hares, ducks as well as other things, meaning he can’t actually partake in his favourite hobby…
