What to do in Vesterbro, Copenhagen<\/h2>\n
Recycles<\/a>\u00a0for bikes,\u00a0Risteriet\u00a0<\/a>and\u00a0Kaffe<\/a>\u00a0for coffee,\u00a0Ugly Duck<\/a>\u00a0for craft beer,\u00a0Neighbourhood<\/a>\u00a0for organic pizza and\u00a0Cofoco<\/a>\u00a0for fresh sandwiches in Vesterbro. That\u2019s our list \u2013 so far!<\/div>\n
\n

Since we have settled here in Vesterbro, we have made some friends in the hood. These are some very cool local businesses that we\u2019re happy to call our friends, and that will only help us pump up the guests\u2019 experience. So let\u2019s pump it up!<\/p>\n

Recycled vintage bikes<\/h3>\n

If this doesn\u2019t already sound pretty awesome, we don\u2019t know what does. Recycles makes their own bikes from old recycled bike parts. As a result, no two bikes are the same. They also come with an automatic gear, and have a strong vintage feel to them. Doesn\u2019t get any more sustainable than that! Oh, and did we mention the guys running the show, Henrik, Claus and Mikkel, are just super sweet?<\/p>\n

So how does that translate into our hotel?<\/p>\n

Recycles will be providing us with 50 \u2018handmade\u2019 bikes that our guests will be able to rent out; and if they happen to fall in love with a bike, they can buy it, and we\u2019ll ship it to wherever they live. Easy peasy!<\/p>\n

Copenhagen Coffee – Risteriet<\/h3>\n

The place we get our everyday coffee from (literally). Nominated for best cafe and coffee in Copenhagen, Risteriet (which stands for \u2018roastery\u2019) is a place which roasts their own beans and serves up quality coffee. It\u2019s a small and cozy place, and it\u2019s only 2 minutes away from our house. Warmly and fuzzily recommended!<\/p>\n

Ugly Duck<\/h3>\n

Would you like a Hoppy Christmas or an Ugly Christmas? When drinking an Ugly Duck beer, you\u2019re drinking a danish craft beer made on Funen. Check out their\u00a0selection<\/a> \u2013 creative, to say the least \u2026 Let\u2019s see how our guests will like it!<\/p>\n

Best Pizza Copenhagen – Neighbourhood<\/h3>\n

Hands down, the best pizza in town. It\u2019s organic, fresh, Italian, green, gourmet AND on top of it all, extremely beautiful. Just look at that picture. The guys behind it are trying to do something different as far as pizza places go \u2013 and it looks like it\u2019s working. Organic cocktails accompany the meal. Definitely something of a \u201cTo-do\u201d when visiting Copenhagen, so we\u2019ll be recommending it non-stop.<\/p>\n

Kaffe Istedgade<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Good things come in small packages<\/em>\u00a0most certainly works for this place. It probably can\u2019t host more than 10 people at a time, but its interior design makes it just about the coziest cafes out there. It\u2019s mostly decorated with natural materials, and that\u2019s how the entire atmosphere is as well: the staff is ever so warm, welcoming and friendly. Locals love this place. Every two weeks or so they have some really cozy events going on, so be sure to follow our Vesterbro section on the\u00a0events page<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Best fresh sandwich in Copenhagen – Cofoco<\/h3>\n

The place to go to if you\u2019re in the mood for a fresh sandwich or French\u00a0baguette; plus, the street where it is located,\u00a0V\u00e6rnedamsvej<\/a>, is a pretty neat shopping street. Luckily, we\u2019ll be serving their sandwiches in our kiosk as well!<\/p>\n
