Charmilles is one of the eight major districts and it stretches along the right bank between the Rhône and the districts of Grottes Saint-Gervais and Servette Petit-Saconnex.
From your door it's a simple stroll or a short bus ride to Geneva city center where you can enjoy plenty of activities: Lake Geneva is offering boat cruises, walks on the shore and even swimming in summer. Or you can just walk along the Rhône River and relax at one of the many restaurants and bars.
Trolleybus lines make for an easy journey to the airport or central station. Geneve airport can be reached in 20 min with line 10 and Geneve central railway station in 10 min with lines 6,10 and 19.
The most famous attraction is Jet d'Eau, an enormous water fountain in Lake Geneva. It is just 25 min away by the bus. The best spots for a photo are the Pont du Mont-Blanc and the Promenade du Lac!
To satisfy your adventurous spirit, there are many watersport opportunities on Lake Geneva, such as windsurfing, paddle boarding and wake boarding.
If you are traveling with family, you should not miss the Parc aux Animaux du Bois-de-la-Bâtie, which you can reach in 20 min by foot from the hotel. At the park you can explore local animal species. Entry to the park is free.
