I loved my stay at the hostel, I'm planning to come back very soon! thanks for all the great midnight talks, I don't remember your names, but the security guy and the sweet girl behind the reception :-) hopefully I'll be back in march!

We, from Thailand and Indonesia, went to Koln for New Year and stay at the Meininger in Koln. We were so impressed about everything there! ... The room and bathroom are clean. Breakfast was great. Staffs were friendly, and some were so cute (esp. the girl at the reception on Tuesday).

On New Year's eve, we couldn't find a place to stay and it was extremely cold outside, but the staff was so nice and let us stay in the bar for all night before we catch the train back to the Netherlands in the early morning.

Would definitely recommend this hostel. Within reasonable distance of all attractions in Berlin via the easy to use s- Bahn train system. However i wouldnt use the directions given with the hostel, much easier to ask at an information desk.
Lovely hostel however, friendly staff and clean rooms. I would stay here again
