Sixth hotel in Berlin

On 14th September MEININGER Hotels have opened their sixth hotel in Berlin. With this new addition, the hotel group is expanding its presence in the capital to a total of 1143 rooms and 3615 beds. The MEININGER Hotel Berlin Tiergarten is located on the Stromstraße, on the corner of Turmstraße in the district of Moabit, and is part of Berlin's newest shopping center, the Schultheiß-Quartier.

Second hotel in Milan

On July 30th, the MEININGER Hotel Group opened a further house in Milan. The new addition comprises a total of 131 rooms and 475 beds and is located directly on Piazza Monte Titano opposite the Lambrate train station. It is already the third hybrid accommodation of the MEININGER Group in Italy.

New hotel in Innsbruck

MEININGER Group and BHS Real Estate Management have signed the contract for a MEININGER Hotel in Innsbruck. The property will be located on Blasius-Hueber-Straße in the center of Innsbruck and will have 76 rooms with a total of 261 beds. The opening is scheduled for the second quarter of 2020.

Thomas Hagemann becomes COO

MEININGER Hotels is pleased to announce the appointment of Thomas Hagemann to the position of Chief Operating Officer, Europe, with effect from 1 August 2018. Reporting to CEO, Hannes Spanring, he will sit on the MEININGER Board and will be based at the Company's headquarters in Berlin, Germany.

New hotel in St Petersburg

Since 28th of May the MEININGER group operates its first hotel in Russia. The MEININGER Hotel St. Petersburg Nikolsky offers a total of 158 rooms and is located in the heart of St. Petersburg in the former Nikolsky market halls on Sadovaya Street.

New hotel in Rome

With the opening of the MEININGER Rome Termini on April 30th, the MEININGER Group now also operates a hotel in Italy's capital. The hotel offers a total of 118 rooms and 319 beds and is located on Via San Martino della Battaglia, near Termini Station.

New hotel in Glasgow

MEININGER Hotels and investor LGIM Real Assets (Legal & General) have signed an agreement for a hotel in Glasgow. The hotel will be located on West George Street opposite Queen Street Train Station and will offer 160 rooms and 590 beds. The opening is scheduled for 2020.

First MEININGER hotel in Italy

MEININGER Hotels have opened a hotel in Milan on 18th of December, which is the first one of the hotel group in Italy. The MEININGER Milano Garibaldi offers 80 rooms and 268 beds and is located in the centre of the city on Strada Privata Calvino 11 close to the Garibaldi train station.

Fifth MEININGER hotel in Berlin

MEININGER Hotels have opened their fifth hotel in Berlin on 1st of December. The new building with 245 rooms and 833 beds is well located right next to East Side Gallery and Ostbahnhof.
