Get to know Ming, the Offline Marketing Manager at MEININGER Hotels. In this interview, she shares how she started her career with us at the reception and tried out several roles, before landing in her dream department—Marketing!

How did your journey at MEININGER Hotels start?
I started back in 2016 in Vienna (where I’m from) at the MEININGER Downtown Franz as a Receptionist.
Which positions & teams have you worked in so far?
After working at the reception for 2 years, I worked as PMS Project Coordinator and travelled to different MEININGER hotels to train the front desk in Sihot (our PMS system). After that, I moved to the headquarters in Berlin, worked as a Group Sales Agent & then became a Group Sales Supervisor. My current role is Marketing Manager Offline.
In which cities have you worked for MEININGER Hotels?
Vienna & Berlin for longer periods. I also worked for a few weeks and up to a month at Frankfurt, Copenhagen & Budapest.

What have the last few years been like for you, here?
Exciting, fun & challenging.
What are your personal biggest accomplishments?
Leading/supervising a team & getting into the department that interests me most—Marketing!
