At the Kurfürstendamm and Tauentzienstraße you will find the 4,5km of pure Christmas sparkly joy. Almost 600 fairy lighted trees and many other sparkly Christmas figures like Santa Claus, Nutcracker, Buddy Bear and Christmas train are waiting on you! Once you get tired of taking pictures and walking along viewing the fairy lights of the Kurfürstendamm stop at the Gedächtniskirche Christmas Market. If you are feeling lucky and in the mood to try out something new, order mulled cherry beer and Kartoffelpuffer with Apfelmus (German potato fritters with apples sauce). Come and eat like a local.
