Best Vegan Cake and Dessert in Vienna

Where to Find Vegan Cake and Dessert in Vienna

Austria at first may not seem like the most vegan friendly country, being the land of wurst and schnitzel, but may actually surprise you with the range of vegan options available. This is especially noticeable in Vienna, which is chock-full of vegan and vegan friendly places to eat.
But if you’re specifically interested in following the Austrian tradition of afternoon Kaffee und Kuchen (coffee and cake), or are just craving something sweet at any time of day, there are actually a surprising number of places around Vienna to indulge your sweet tooth. Here are the best places to find vegan cake and dessert in Vienna.
