COVID-19 Update

Stay safe & travel on

Dear travel enthusiasts,

As we are approaching into a "new" normal and slowly learning to live with the consequences of the pandemic, we have dedicated a lot of time in defining what we can do to make our hotels as comfortable and safe as possible for you, while keeping the MEININGER spirit and unique atmosphere in our hotels alive.

The well-being and safety of you and the MEININGER family are more important than ever to us. Therefore, we have developed safety guidelines and hygienic measurements that guarantee you will have a worry-free time when staying with us.

We are working closely with local authorities and choose to be more stringent when it comes to health precautions wherever we feel it is necessary. Flexibility is a high value these days when no day is like the other. For that reason, our new rebooking and cancellation policies allow you to change your travel plans free of charge, if necessary. Please check our website for new updates regularly in this regard.

In the past, the excitement of discovering the unknown, the curiosity to discover new cities, and the love for authentic experiences has united us all - and we trust it will in the future.

We look forward to welcoming you again soon. Stay safe and take good care. We are in this together.

Covid-19 and travelling

We adopted the WHO's official recommendations and are following the local authority's regulations to reduce exposure to and transmission of the Covid-19 virus. This includes everything from hand washing hygiene and cleaning specifications for guest rooms and public areas, as well as safe food practices.

Our staff is following detailed hygiene and housekeeping regulations, completing enhanced Covid-19 awareness trainings and has access to real-time information through our internal communication hub.

Upon arrival at all of our locations, we kindly ask you to respect the health and safety measures as established by global and local health authorities, such as:
