The MEININGER Hotel Berlin East Side Gallery is aptly named because of its location directly opposite a remaining piece of the Berlin Wall. The longest open air gallery in the world was created by famous artists as a memorial after the reunification of Germany. Ostbahnhof is in close proximity to the MEININGER hotel and guests can easily catch public transport to quickly get to other hotspots in Berlin. There are direct trains to Friedrichsstraße, Brandenburger Gate or Potsdamer Platz.

I was originally booked at the east side gallery location and because of some repair work I was transferred to another location the Mitte location, where I had to pay to use the towels and when they
