The personnel was very nice and the place was clean and practical. The only imperfection of the place for me is the noise. The bathroom walls and door are really thin and it's not the best experience
nice hotel and quiet hotel, good location
Great location, clean tidy and comfortable
extremely loud rooms/no soundproofness at all (everyone passing by sounded like they were walking in your room while talking loudly), nice and modern interior but super small rooms with hardly any
We stayed with 3 person in a 2 person room, an extra bed was placed as asked. The room had everything it needed except for perhaps a drinking glass/pp in the bathroom.Nonetheless, a small complaint
Very comfortable rooms, perfect location and nice people.
Good location, nice area with lots of restaurants and bars around. Feels safe too. Great access to public transportation, station just in front and others nearby. Walking distance to many attractions
The rooms are not well isolated, one can hear everything on the corridor and from the other rooms. Having teenagers running around at night at smashing the door did not help. The breakfast was ok, but
The Oranienburger Straße was and still is a lively hot-spot of Berlin. For centuries artists, business people and scientists have met here. The famous natural scientist Alexander von Humboldt lived in Oranienburger Straße in the 19th century. In fact, in the very place where the hotel stands today. In this area, steeped in history, the MEININGER Berlin Mitte "Humboldthaus" creates a special monument to the all-round genius: A colourful Humboldt mural in the dining room and oversized Humboldt comics in the lobby and hallways connect the past with the present.
As multifaceted as Berlin-Mitte is for tourists, so too are the guests at MEININGER Hotel “Humboldthaus” also very diverse. For youth groups, Interrail travellers or students it is a comfortable alternative to a hostel. Due to its central location it is a perfect district for a business trip, parents with children find family friendly accommodation with modern facilities. In a MEININGER Hotel everyone simply feels good!
Well-nourished after a delicious breakfast buffet at the MEININGER hotel, backpacker art fans set off to visit the many contemporary galleries and museums in Berlin-Mitte. City breaks are fun!
The central location of the MEININGER Hotel is also ideal for business trips: Business travellers can quickly get to their appointments on foot or with public transport, relieved that they can leave their own car parked in the hotel’s underground carpark.
Berlin is best explored by bike. It is not only better for the environment, but is fun for the whole family. Bikes for hire and tickets for other child-friendly activities are available at the reception.
