We stayed 2 nights in this hotel. Staff is really nice, the room is nice, quiet and clean and nicely decorated. Breakfast is perfect. We had a 4 beds room. 2 adults and 2 kids. And had a lovely
Room on 5th floor ok, not as good as on my first stay, and more expensive though. Average quality mattress. Cleanliness good. Bathroom Clean too but with a terrible smell coming from the pipe system.
The staff was Really welcoming and have the willingness to take care of their customers and make them enjoy their stay. Bedroom was convinient, Well decorated and modern. Value for Money is

MEININGER Hotel Lyon Centre Berthelot is located in the 7th arrondissement of the city and boasts a lively atmosphere filled with students from the nearby Université Lumière Lyon 2. Our hotel in Lyon center is right next to Rhône river, 300 metres away, which is a great option for those who want to take a gentle and refreshing stroll along the waterfront.
There is so much to see in this beautiful city that guests will never run out of options. In terms of traveling, this hotel has fantastic public transport connections. The international airport Saint Exupéry can be reached via the RhôneXpress from the Part Dieu station: train departures are every 15 minutes and it takes only 29 minutes journey time. Lyon Zoo is a wonderful day out especially if you are with children and it is a short journey from the MEININGER Hotel Lyon Centre Berthelot. In addition, guests might like to behold Lyon Cathedral, otherwise known as Cathédrale Saint-Jean-Baptiste, which is a sight that will stay with you long after you have left.
