Where to stay in Munich? Our neighborhood in Munich city center

Is MEININGER Hotel Munich City Center located near the city center?

The MEININGER Hotel Munich City Center is just a few minutes on foot from Munich’s central train station, in the up and coming neighborhood of Schwanthalerhöhe otherwise known as Westend. This trendy and interesting locality has plenty to do, so you won't have to travel far to be entertained when you stay!

Thanks to the central location of the MEININGER hotel it takes no time at all to get to the hotspots such as the Old Town, Nymphenburg Palace or the English Garden. This hotel in the center of Munich is extremely well-connected to public transport with a number of stations nearby including München Hackerbrücke and München Hauptbahnhof just a short walk.

Which popular attractions are close to the hotel?

One of the first places to check out as a visitor is the nearby Bavaria statue, a towering bronze monument representing the female personification of Bavaria itself and the strength and magnificence of this. You can also get a great view of Bavariapark.

Another cultural landmark to experience on your trip is the Deutsches Museum Verkehrszentrum, which displays antique automobiles, train carriages and buses- a delight for car enthusiasts out there as well as those looking to see something slightly different on their trip.
