New rebooking policy

 

We are going through unprecedented times which hold challenges for all of us.

Our intention is always to try and serve our customers as best as we can, so we are pleased to inform you that we have implemented a new more flexible rebooking policy.

All direct individual non-refundable reservations* with planned arrival from 1st March 2020 up to and including 19th April 2020 can be rebooked towards a future stay in a MEININGER Hotel of your choice before 30th June 2021.

The following conditions apply:

  • The rebooking offer can only be used once per existing booking
  • The latest possible departure date for the new stay is 30.06.2021
  • The daily rates at the time of the rebooking apply for the new stay
  • If the new booking price is higher than the amount paid, you will be charged the difference
  • In the event that the new booking price is lower, the unused amount will be retained and will therefore not be refunded.

Please place your rebooking request stating your booking reference number by sending an email to welcome@meininger-hotels.com.

Precautions while traveling and staying abroad

 

Due to the current circumstances, we wanted to let you know we care and we are taking the current issue of coronavirus (COVID-19) very seriously.

MEININGER Hotels is closely monitoring the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), World Health Organization (WHO) and local health department statements regarding the coronavirus (COVID-19) cases and following the guidelines. The wellbeing and safety of our hotel guests, visitors and team mates is of utmost importance. MEININGER Hotels will continue to be extremely proactive in preparing to act quickly should the need arise.

Is traveling and stay in a hotel risky?

 

At MENINGER your safety comes first. We adopted the World Health Organization (WHO's) official recommendations and are following the authority's regulations to reduce exposure to and transmission of a range of illnesses. This includes everything from hand washing hygiene and cleaning product specifications to guest room, common area cleaning procedures and safe food practices.

Our employees are following all hygiene and housekeeping protocols while also completing enhanced COVID-19 awareness trainings and have real-time information with our internal communication hub. If we are alerted to a case of COVID-19 at one of our hotels, we immediately work with the local health authorities to obtain the facts and guidance on steps to take with both guests and associates.
