Time: 2-3 years
For: vocational school students who have completed 9 years of school with good grades and are at least 15-16 years old (parental approval required)
What: this program combines vocational school learning with on-the-job training in one of our hotels
Where: hotels in Germany, Austria & Switzerland
Start dates: February & August-September every year
You’ll graduate as one of the following: 1) Hotel Management Assistant in Germany, 2) Qualified Professional in Hospitality Services in Germany, 3) Hotel and Catering Assistant / Hotel & Hospitality Assistant in Austria, 4) Hotel Communication Specialist in Switzerland.
Hotel internship & traineeship
Time: 6 months / short-term
For: local students (hospitality or tourism)
What: learn by doing in a real hotel setting & get hands-on experience in daily operations
Where: hotels in the Netherlands, Switzerland, Belgium & Denmark

Dual study program
Time: 6 semesters

What: combine your studies with real-world experience. You’ll learn the theory behind tourism and business administration, then apply it through guided, practical training

MEININGER management trainee program
Time: 15 months
For external applicants: You need a bachelor’s in hospitality or a completed vocational training in hotel or tourism management, plus at least 1 year of experience in hospitality or tourism (HoReCa), and flexibility to relocate
For internals (M-Explorers): You need a bachelor’s or master’s degree, 1-2 years of MEININGER experience, positive performance reviews, and flexibility to relocate
