Good sleep is essential not only at home, but also while traveling. Based on this shared understanding, MEININGER Hotels and bett1 are entering into a long-term partnership with the goal of offering guests a contemporary level of sleep quality across MEININGER Hotels.
"Anyone who travels frequently knows how important good sleep is. Together with bett1, we ensure that our guests wake up feeling genuinely rested, even when they're on the road. Because for us, good sleep isn't a luxury, but a clearly defined standard that our guests can rely on," says Ajit Menon, CEO of MEININGER Hotels.
Long-term partnership with a clear rollout strategy
A key milestone of the collaboration is the planned opening of the MEININGER Hotel Barcelona Fira Gran Via in summer 2026, where all rooms will be equipped with bett1’s BODYGUARD® anti-cartel mattresses as part of a sponsorship.
As of today, the MEININGER Hotels in Leipzig, Vienna, Paris, Lyon, and Munich already feature this mattress model. Going forward, the rollout will be gradually expanded to additional properties as part of ongoing renovations and upgrades. In addition, the partnership will be made visible in participating hotels as well as across various marketing and communication channels.
The mattress has been rated multiple times by Stiftung Warentest with a score of 1.6 and stands for long-lasting quality as well as certified materials in accordance with the OEKO-TEX® Standard 100.
"We’re excited to have MEININGER Hotels as our first major partner in the hospitality sector. This allows us to consistently bring our commitment to high sleep comfort into everyday travel, making our product available not just at home, but also on the road," adds Adam Szpyt, Managing Director of bett1.
